June 14, 2023 – Tim Hortons restaurant owners and millions of generous Tim Hortons guests helped to break a new Smile Cookie record by raising $19.7 million for local charities and community groups across the country.

This year in Woodstock and Ingersoll, Tim Hortons restaurant owners, plus all of their incredible customers, helped raise $120,800.28 in support of two local charities – United Way Oxford and VON Sakura House Hospice. Each charity will receive $60,400 and all funds will go directly towards programs and services that directly impact the Oxford County community.

Sakura House Hospice and United Way Oxford are so grateful for the support of the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign! This year, over 80,000 cookies were sold over the course of 7 days and we surpassed our total raised from last year’s campaign by over $20,000! This is all because of the incredible community by which we are surrounded.

In addition, we want to recognize the incredible support we received from our volunteers that came out to decorate cookies at Cookie Central! Over 275 local community members came out between Monday and Friday and volunteered over 550 hours! We want to thank every individual who decorated, bagged, and boxed thousands of cookies, all in support of two amazing charity organizations. We are all so proud of how our community came together and cannot wait for the 2024 Smile Cookie Campaign!
