Recap on the 20th Anniversary of the Hike for Hospice

Wow, what an incredible day we had for the 2022 Hike for Hospice on Saturday, September 17. We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who participated, donated, sponsored, and volunteered in support of Sakura House Hospice. We have the most amazing community here in Oxford County.

Thanks to you, we were able to raise a total of $100,032.17 for Sakura House. That’s an amazing 99% of our goal!

We are also excited to announce our Top Fundraiser and Top Team:

• Our Top Individual Fundraiser in 2022 was JUSTIN READ who raised a total of $3,877!

• Our Top Team in 2022 was TEAM SAKURA. Together, they raised a total of $9,495!

There are so many people we need to thank (too many to list here), but to every single sponsor, donor, and volunteer – we could not execute this event without you. The generosity our community shows for Sakura House is overwhelming.

A special thank you to our Title Sponsor, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, who continue to support our local hospice to ensure that we can provide end-of-life care at no cost to our patients.
