Join us at Roth Park for the 20th annual Hike for Hospice!

The Hike for Hospice is back, in person, at Roth Park on Saturday, September 17! And it’s the 20th Anniversary of this event!

It has certainly been an unprecedented couple of years and we are pleased to be able to, once again, host the Hike for Hospice in person at Roth Park in Woodstock.

Throughout the pandemic, VON Oxford and VON Sakura House hospice continued to provide essential programs and services to our community. Our staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly and very creatively to ensure continued outreach to those who need us most, making sure they were safe, healthy, and connected. Sakura House endured to provide quality, no cost end-of-life care for our most vulnerable. We would not have been able to sustain these services at the same levels over the past two years without the continued support of our community and generous supporters like you.

The 20th Annual Hike for Hospice, in support of VON Sakura House hospice in Oxford County, will be hosted in-person at Roth Park in Woodstock on Saturday, September 17. We are fortunate to have a wonderful local volunteer committee leading the charge for the 2022 Hike for Hospice event, generously chaired by Cassandra Benard.

This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to come together to celebrate and honour the lives of loved ones while raising awareness for local hospice palliative care services. Last year, we exceeded our goal of $90,000, raising $102,000 thanks to our very generous community. This year, our goal is to raise $100,000! We invite our entire community to come on out and support Sakura House by registering as a Hiker and collecting pledges. We will have face painting, prizes, a scavenger hunt, and a FREE BBQ Lunch!

See you on September 17!
